Back from Convention and my head is swiming with all the possibilities! In the meanwhile, the Fall 2008 Stamp Camp is coming up FAST! Convention Week!!!

Well, it's here! Stampin' Up!'s 2008 Convention in Salt Lake City. This convention celebrates the 20th anniversary of Stampin' Up! New to this year's convention, the catalog has gone back to debuting during the convention. The new catalog goes into effect August 11th.

Coming over the next few days, I'll be posting tidbits, trading cards and examples of all the great things being revealed, so stay tuned!

Stamp Camp

Here are a couple of projects from our last Stamp Camp. The Embrace Life card was adapted from a trade my manager, Benda Stayner, got from Leadership Training, and the Purse card design came from Patty's Stampin Spot (check my favorite blog list!).

BftP! - Liquid Pearl

Remember the little bottles of Liquid Pearl we used to carry? I stamped the butterflies and the dragonfly in VersaMark, embossed in detail black, painted with Liquid Pearl and then Clear embossed over everything before cutting out...

Blast from the Past! - The Beginning

My "Blast from the Past!" posts are going to comprise those cards from days gone by. You know you have them: boxes and baskets and crates, hiding in cabinets, cupboards, the garage, or the attic all filled with samples and swaps and trades. If you've been stampin' as long as I have, you can get a case of the giggles going back through some of these gems of creativity. Common phrases you may say to yourself may be "What was I thinking??!?!"

Once in a while though, you may run across a pleasing card that still makes you proud to be a stamper, or touches of a wave of nostalgia. Your first scrapbook page. Your first Button Bear™ card. Your first embossing project.

In the spirit of sharing the love, I'll be posting some of my favorite or most infamous creations that I've accumulated over the years once or twice a week. Just look for the BftP label!

Jumpin' In the Stampin' Bloggin' Pool!

Greetings fellow stampers! I figure after 11 years of stampin' and demo-in' for Stampin' Up!, I figure it's time to expand and share and teach all the wonderful things and stamp techniques I've learned. This is also a great place to connect to each other and all the other wonderful stampers and demonstrators out there. Feel free to drop me a line, comment, or slap me upside the head if need be! My wife frequently has to resort to the last option!
